Helldyne developed storage system hardware for a large data center client. The storage system targets a cost point where the total capex of the infrastructure is a fraction of the cost of the hard drive elements. This is in contrast to most commercially available storage platforms in which the infrastructure cost is a multiple of the hard drive elements.
